E-Tahanawasot Care Centre playspace was built in the summer of 2015. We were able to take inspiration from students of Oskayak Daycare for the space as they had put their ideas on paper. After discussing the needs and the looking at the small space we had to work with we decided to anchor the space with the theme of the medicine wheel. The four parts of the medicine wheel translated into a slide, sandbox, log sitting area and grass play space for the children. It was wonderful to be able to work with this community to develop a space for the precious little ones that attend their centre.
